AD is recruiting now!
Applying to AD:
AD recruits conservatively and selectively. We do not tag waves of applicants in hopes that a couple might work out. We dont over-recruit. This isnt fair to you and it isnt the way we want to do business. We are looking for people who want to raid, not sit on the sidelines hoping a spot opens up.
Our application period will typically be a maximum of 2 weeks. Occasionally it may be shorter or longer. If we are certain you fit here within 5 days, the period could be as short as 5 days. There is no set-in-stone rule. However, we will not waive an app period for anyone, no matter how uber. It may take a while for your app to be accepted. You may not be insta-tagged. But I believe you will find it worth the wait.

We are farming the Tower of Discord and all of SoD (including hard mode raids), gearing up, and just having some fun learning the new events in Underfoot. Fippy is dead and the other first tier events soon will. If you have to think a moment before answering "cake? or death?" then maybe AD is for you. Or maybe you should seek professional help. Either way, hi.
We raid Sunday through Thursday, 7 EST to 11 EST or later if necessary. We do not raid on Friday or Saturday. Please see our loot rules for details, but basically we require 50% RA for loot eligibility.
Appotus Dominus has been raiding together since 2002, with many of its members having been with the guild for 5 years or more. Lots of us are working adults with spouses and families. Some are already getting AARP literature and yell at kids to get off our lawns. However, most of us can still eat solid food, see through our bi-focals and love to raid in between naps.
RECRUITING FOR CERTAIN CLASSES IS OPEN ATM:.
Currently, as of April 19, 2010, we have interest in:
Cleric and high-parsing dps of any flavor. Most other class are full, but we will always consider extraordinary people of any class. Please meet our minimum requirements and have raiding experience. Also, please talk to an officer before submitting an application.
We are what I call a moderately-hardcore raiding guild. We are very serious about raiding, but we have a lot of fun, we enjoy each others company, and we are just tearing through content. You CAN have the best of both worlds.
Requirements:
1. NO DRAMA. Of course. If youve been booted from another guild because you do not play well with others, you probably wont like it here.
2. During your app period, 75% RA is required. (Members need to maintain 50% min RA to bid.) We also expect you to let an officer know when you are not going to be on or late whenever possible. You will be provided with access to our AD applicant boards to post and review our FAQ.
3. If you lie to me with intent to deceive me in your application, you will not play here. If you are an alt and retiring your main or have any other history on other characters in high-level raiding - I want to know about it up front. If you have history on another toon, I want to know about it.
4. Other than the big 3, be level 85, have solid AA setups and be able to survive in the zones we raid. You need to have your Korafax flag.
5. Please talk with an officer before applying. Use the template form on our discussion thread and follow the instructions there. You must have a current Magelo profile.
